Hakata dolls Genji-monogatari

Mr. Tsushida always looking for a theme from traditional Japanese culture and classics for Hakata doll's making. The Tale of Genji is one of them. The Tale of Genji ( Genji monogatari) is a classic work of Japanese Romance novel whose main character is playboy named Hikaru Genji, written by Murasaki Shikibu in the early years of the 11th century. Hikaru Genji in Kimigata by Mr. Tsushida makes me feel just like womanizer.
